#hambibleibt 2012–2022
The Book "#hambibleibt 2012-2020" is a documentation about the last ten years of occupation of the Hambach Forest, germany's largest opencast lignite mine. An illustrated book with a timeline, maps and 193 photographic images.
The book brings together visual material from 17 different photographers who have documented and accompanied the occupation of the forest over the past ten years. In a combination of artistic and activist positions, photographs, sound bites and archive material, the publication tells the stories of those people who fought to preserve Hambach Forest. It is a chronicle, a reminder and a tribute to the numerous activists who fought for their convictions, for coexistence in solidary diversity, for a better world and a better life.
